Carnival Monday J'ouvert - An early morning street jump-up with a satirical twist. In the afternoon and into the evening, T-shirt bands participate in a great Caribbean street party.
Carnival Tuesday Mardi Gras - Mas bands parade on stage at Carnival City (Victoria Park) competing for the Band of the Year Award and then on to the streets of Kingstown.

Emancipation Day - 1st August - events to commemorate the Abolition of Slavery

Dance Festival Month

Caroling Competition
Nine Mornings Celebration - A pre-Christmas tradition. Early morning street activities such as bicycle races, carol singing, food & drink and much more!
New Year's Eve is celebrated in a big way in the Caribbean. Church services, fire works, public and private dinners parties which are guaranteed to carry on into New Year's Day!
